These Payment Terms supplement our Terms & Conditions. By making a booking through findmystudio, you agree to these Payment Terms.
Session fees are set by studios and displayed on their profiles. findmystudio charges a Platform Commission on each confirmed booking, deducted from the session fee before payment is transferred to the studio.
The current Platform Commission rate is 7% of the total booking amount. This fee is charged at the time of payment and deducted before funds are transferred to the studio.
findmystudio may also offer optional membership tiers for studios or artists in the future, which may provide additional features or reduced commission rates. Details of any membership fees will be published here before they take effect.
findmystudio reserves the right to amend its Platform Commission rate and any membership fees. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice to affected users before any fee changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new rates.
findmystudio processes payments on behalf of studios using Stripe. All payments for confirmed bookings are made through the Platform. By using this service, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Payment is required within 24–48 hours of the studio accepting your booking request. You will receive an email with a secure payment link. If payment is not completed within this time, the booking request may expire.
All transactions are processed in British Pounds (GBP). Artists pay the full session fee at the time of booking confirmation.
Invoices are generated and sent automatically by findmystudio on confirmation of a booking. Studios do not need to invoice artists directly.
Studios receive a monthly revenue statement showing all bookings, session fees and commission deducted for that month.
By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these cancellation and refund terms. findmystudio reserves the right to issue refunds at its discretion in cases of dispute.
A non-refundable booking fee applies to artist cancellations. This amount is £3 or 5% of the total booking amount, whichever is higher. This fee is retained to cover payment processing costs and platform administration.
More than 24 hours before the session: Full refund minus the non-refundable amount.
Less than 24 hours before the session: 50% refund of the total amount.
If a studio cancels your booking after acceptance, you will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable amount (you are not penalized for studio cancellations). Studio cancellations may result in penalties for the studio.
Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or have a dispute, contact the studio directly via the messaging feature. If unresolved, you may raise a dispute through the platform. Payouts to the studio may be held during dispute resolution.
